Discover new sales opportunities ....Set'Graph is used to quickly test marketing hypotheses, allowing an office supply company to cross sell more products to their customers. When customers buy copiers, they also buy toner and paper at the same time. If we were to look at the relation of the three products, we would produce a graph that validates our initial hypothesis. What may have been apparent is that a large number of customers buy toner at the same time that they buy their paper. What is not so obvious is that many more customers do not buy both at the same time. Is it because they don't need the other product or that they traditionally use another source for their toner? When a customer calls for paper, it is worth checking to see if they also need toner! |
